Scan — pricing

Add credit. Pay per scan. No subscription.

Add credit in $100, $250 or $500 packs. Each scan uses credit based on how big your set is. No license, no per-user seats, and nothing to cancel.

How your price is set

Every scan is priced by the size of the document set you upload — the total amount of readable text across your plans and specs — not by how many people are on your account, and not a monthly plan. You'll see the exact price for your specific set before you click. Every time.

Three sizes

Your document set lands in one of three tiers, based on how much readable text is in it.

Small document set

A single-scope package, a small sub-bid, or a short spec-only set.

$79

Standard bid set

A typical multi-sheet plan set and spec book — a standard, single-building bid set.

$149

Large / multi-volume set

Multiple buildings, phases, or volumes — or any large drawing set and spec book.

$249

Sized by the total readable text in your set, not by page count — a page can hold anywhere from a few dozen to several thousand characters depending on how it's drawn, so two 50-page sets can land in different tiers. You'll always see which tier your set landed in, and the exact price, before you click.

Site photos

Upload site photos with your set and the report gets a dedicated section on existing site conditions — the same scan, not a separate product or a separate purchase. Site photos: $2 each, first 5 free, any tier. Photos are optional — a documents-only set still gets a full report.

What every scan includes

Every scan report is organized around the same sections, whichever tier it lands in.

  • Narrative

A plain-language summary of what the scan found, so you know where to start reading.

  • Conflicts

Places where the drawings, specs, or other documents in the set disagree with each other.

  • Questions & Open Items

The specific questions worth asking before you price or issue, drafted from what the set leaves unclear or missing.

  • Existing Conditions

When you upload site photos with the set, this section reports what they show about existing conditions — folded into the same scan, not a separate product.

  • Scope

What the set puts in scope, organized so you can see what you're actually pricing or building.

  • Risks

Conditions and notes in the set worth flagging for attention.

  • Project Context

The project basics worth knowing: site, structure, and permitting.

  • Coverage

A plain accounting of what the scan read, so you know exactly what's covered and what isn't.

Charged only when the scan finishes

We hold the price when a scan starts and charge it only when the scan finishes. There's nothing to request.

  • The scan finished. The price is charged. Gaps we detect are named in the report.
  • The scan failed. The hold is released automatically.
  • The scan couldn't finish reading your documents or checking them for conflicts. The hold is released automatically. Files we tell you before the scan that we can't read don't release it.

While a scan runs, the held amount comes out of your credit balance. A released hold goes back automatically.

Pricing questions

Do I need a subscription?

No. No seats, no monthly plan. You add credit, and each scan uses credit for the document set you scan.

What if my set is right on the edge between two tiers?

You'll see the exact tier and the exact price for your specific set before you click — never a guess, and never a surprise after.

Do I have to include site photos?

No. A documents-only set still gets a full scan and a full report. Add photos and per-photo pricing applies — the first few free — and the report gets a dedicated site-conditions section.

Does a bigger set cost more?

Across the three sizes, yes: price follows the size of what you upload, not who is asking or how many scans you have run. Within a size, the price is the same.

See it before you buy it
